Our Heritage
The Story of Our Naadi Jothidam Tradition
The story of our practice is rooted deeply in the sacred temple town of Vaitheeswarankoil, the revered cradle of Nadi astrology in Tamil Nadu. In this sanctified land, our ancestral forebears were entrusted with the sacred calling to preserve, protect, and interpret the original palm leaf manuscripts etched by Maharishi Agasthiyar and Sage Kakabujandar.
Across generations of unbroken ancestral tradition, these centuries-old manuscript bundles (Olaichuvadi) have been carefully guarded through traditional herbal preservation, sacred temple pujas, and an unbroken oral transmission passed down from father to son—mastering the classical Tamil poetic verses, ancient Grantha Lipi scripts, and precise thumbprint classifications.
Today, Guruji S.P. Thangamani carries forward this sacred ancestral torch with deep dedication and reverence. Blessed by the divine grace of Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Guruji serves seekers worldwide with the same spiritual purity, humility, and uncompromising accuracy established by his ancestral forebears.

Our Guiding Principles of Naadi Astrology
Pure Leaf Identification
We strictly follow the classical thumb impression classification system (Chakra, Sanku, Mandala). A reading proceeds only when the leaf unequivocally confirms your parents’ names, date of birth, and present circumstances.
Absolute Confidentiality
Every consultation is a sacred personal bond. Your thumbprints, family details, personal struggles, and life recordings are treated with the highest ethical privacy, never shared, and safeguarded with profound respect.
Ethical Vedic Pariharams
Remedies prescribed in Chapter 13 (Shanthi Kaandam) focus strictly on authentic temple archana, sacred fire Homams, and selfless Annadhanam (feeding the poor). We practice pure Vedic traditions without commercialization.
